Here are some mosaic projects my friend Alicia and I worked on in January 2005.

It was a wonderful experience for both of us. Alicia and I make up the perfect team. Without lots of verbal communication we created 3 fabulous mosaic projects...
Our first design, the window frame, was a tricky challenge. We encountered some major problems grouting the uneven surface. Plus temperatures in the 30’s did not help with this difficult task. We had to step away for a while and warm up inside the house. After some hot tea, and a little research online, we completed our mission. The big table was considerably easier after dealing with complicated uneven surfaces.

This frame was sure not for beginners.

Now the table is completed, including candle holders and a hole to hold the oil lamp.


This little table we created from leftover tiles, glass stones, and shells from our collection.
